The Children's Center of Greater Waterbury Health Network, Inc. is affiliated with Waterbury Hospital Health Center. Our facility serves as a full and part day Early Care & Education Center, serving employees of the Waterbury Hospital Health Center, persons working on the Waterbury Hospital campus and families in the community. The Children’s Center is also a School Readiness Grant facility, working in collaboration with the State Department of Education & State Department of Social Services. The program serves families living in the City of Waterbury. Please see School Readiness and Care4Kids information.

The choosing of an Early Care & Education Program for your child is a very difficult task. The Center must provide experienced, trained and dedicated teachers and staff. The surroundings must be warm, loving, safe and dependable, as well as providing for each child's individual needs. The environment must be well equipped with freely accessible materials that allow children to experiment, create, understand and develop in the world around them.

The Children's Center of Greater Waterbury Health Network, Inc. provides all this and more. Our Center has the distinction of being accredited by the National Association of Early Childhood Programs. This accreditation demonstrates a commitment to providing a high quality program to our children and their families. Our environment is large enough to give children the freedom to grow, and our enrollment is maintained at a level where we can provide the individual care and attention children need. We are committed to the hiring of professionals. Our staff is "Educarers" who care for, educate and help children develop to their full potential.
